The Arabs were famous for their eloquence, narrations, and the quality of poetry. They loved poetry, organizing it and narrating it in their assemblies and clubs, in every way. And while they are like that, when ALLAH sent among them Muhammad (SAWW) among the most eloquent of all the Arab tribes, the Quraysh tribe, to which the Arabs used to rule in poetry systems. The good of it is what Quraysh accepted, and the bad of it is what Quraysh rejected. The Arabs excelled in poetry systems and exaggerated their attachment to it, and it is almost the most prominent cultural aspect of the pre-Islamic environment, but Islam came with a purposeful revolution. To refute the bad pre-Islamic concepts, and to make people adhere to tolerant Islamic principles, and he was exposed to poetry as well, so he accepted what called for monotheism and virtue from him, and denounced what called for evil and vice, and was a cause for incitement to obscenity and false sayings and raised hatreds and national fanaticism. Likewise, the Prophet (SAWW) had positions on poetry. He despised his fall and his badness and what carried the meanings of evil, and he listened to poetry that served the Islamic call, and called for virtuous morals, but rather was affected by hearing it, encouraged its systems, permitted poets, and had critical opinions towards some poems and poets. This research is the reviews of the Holy Quran about poetry and poets, and some related topics.
