Abstract

The purpose and purpose of this research is to reveal the manifestations of the Conative function in the Qur’anic discourse, which is one of the language functions identified by Roman Jacobson.

The researcher has taken from Surat Al-Muzammil as a model to uncover the effectiveness of this linguistic function and explain the purposes of its use in the Holy Qur’an.
