Analytical Study of Javed Ahmad Ghamidi's Concept of Sunnah and Hadith

Abstract

   Main problem of Ghamidi's discourse is that it changes the explanation which has been since centuries and presents its own meaning and commentaries about Islamic terminologies which creates so many misunderstanding. When he on one side uses Quranic and Sunnah's symmetry while on other side when he neglects hadiths as main source, he mentions that he has mentioned hundreds of hadiths in his books like Meezan. The difference between hadiths and Sunnah is considered as a unique and extraordinary work by his followers while his opponents think it evidences of neglecting hadiths against him. First we will mention introduction of Javed Ahmad Ghamidi , then explanation of hadiths and Sunnah according to Ahnaf and finally the difference between it . After that concept of hadiths and Sunnah according to Javed Ahmad Ghamidi will be mentioned.
