Abstract

This study examines the intricate relationship between divine sovereignty and prophetic authority as articulated in the Quran, with particular focus on its sophisticated rhetorical framework regarding obedience to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The research analyzes the Quranic methodology in establishing this theological paradigm through its distinctive linguistic and argumentative techniques. The divine text utilizes multiple rhetorical devices, incorporating prescriptive injunctions, didactic exposition, and illustrative narratives, to establish the theological necessity of prophetic adherence.Through systematic analysis of select Quranic verses, this study demonstrates the text's methodological approach in presenting prophetic obedience not merely as a religious obligation, but as an integral component of divine guidance leading to spiritual and temporal success. The research examines the Quran's multifaceted argumentative structure that establishes this theological premise through various pedagogical approaches, rendering its message universally comprehensible while maintaining its doctrinal depth. Furthermore, the study investigates the Quranic discourse on the ramifications of prophetic disobedience, analyzing its impact on both individual spiritual development and collective societal harmony. This analytical examination reveals the Quran's sophisticated articulation of the Prophet's foundational role in divine guidance, demonstrating the contemporary relevance and applicability of prophetic teachings in addressing modern human challenges.
