A comparative study of the interpretation of the stanzas of Al-Mūqdāmā al-Jzāriyyah related to the spelling of letters

Abstract

The books that Allah revealed were for a specific nation and for a specific period. All the prophets and messengers made efforts to guide their respective nations. The protection of these heavenly books was the responsibility of humans. Therefore, with the passage of time, these books also Distortion and change became apparent. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) has been appointed as the Seal of the Prophets by Allah and said that his Prophethood will last until the Day of Judgment, therefore, He has arranged to keep the Holy Qur'an, the book that was revealed to him, to be permanent until the Day of Judgment. Allah has made a wonderful arrangement to preserve the Qur'an in such a way that its words are preserved, its meaning, its script, its language is preserved. Therefore, Allah has revealed this Qur'an with Tajweed and thus it has reached us from Allah with Tajweed. In other words, obtaining Tajweed and then reciting the Holy Qur'an with Tajweed is obligatory and mandatory, and reciting the Qur'an against Tajweed makes a person a sinner. Reciting the letters of the Holy Qur'an correctly to such an extent that there is no increase or decrease in the letters, no change in the meaning of the letters, no change in the attributes of the letters, and no excess of their original quantity in performing movements. Obeying the rules of Tajweed is essential for every Muslim. In this article, we have compared the verses related to the principles of Tajweed in the book of Imam Jazri with the opinions of different scholars of Tajweed so that the understanding of the Qur'an and its rights can be fulfilled thanks to the interpretation and explanation of the letters.
