An analytical study of the story of Musa and Khidr in the light of commentators' opinions

Abstract

The Qur'an is the last guide of Allah which was revealed to the Holy Prophet Khātām-ūl-Nbiyēn for the guidance of mankind. This book is the source of Islamic Shāriāh, the basis of Islamic teachings and the source of Dēn ē Hānīf. This book is the reason for the rise and fall of the Muslim Ummah and the standard for their welfare in the present and the hereafter. Commentaries on this Qur'an were written in different languages in different periods and when this knowledge entered the modern era, commentary took on a new skill. Every verse and surah started to be interpreted. In fact, the interpretation is being done from every dimension, direction and angle. In this article, an analytical study has been done in the light of commentators' commentary on different aspects of the story of Mūsā and Khīzr.
