What is "Samaa"? A research review in the light of Qur'an, Sunnah and Sufism

Abstract

What is "Samaa"? What is its place in the Qur'an and Sunnah? What is the importance of "Samaa" in Islamic Sufism and what are the arguments for "Samaa" in the Qur'an and Sunnah. It has been explained what was the method of listening to hearing in the era of the Prophet (peace be upon him). And in what manner the Sufis have accepted "hearing" and some Sufis have accepted it and some Sufis have rejected it. When is it permissible to listen to sama' and what are the effects of listening to sama' and in what cases is it beneficial for a person to listen to sama'? It has been explained in the light of the sayings of the Sufis regarding Sunnaqb as Haram, Mubah and Mustahab. The cases and ambiguities that are found in today's era regarding "Samaa" have been explained in the light of the Qur'an and Sunnah and the sayings of Imams and Sufism have also been used. Finally, the research findings and summary are described.
