Abstract

Most of the population of the subcontinent follows Hanafi jurisprudence, which is the model of Imam Abu Hanifa, may God have mercy on him. In the methods of Hanafi jurisprudence, in addition to the Qur'an and Sunnah, other secondary sources are also very important. In Hanafi jurisprudence, personal imitation is of great importance, while in ijtihad issues, circumstances and times are taken into account. Both rational and analogical arguments are important, but wisdom is subordinated to tradition. Among the characteristics and distinctions of Hanafi jurisprudence, its Shurai jurisprudence is of great importance. While Hanafi jurisprudence with its comprehensiveness exists in a fully codified form. Hanafi jurisprudence is widely accepted. The main reason for which this fiqh is accessible to talented scholars, a large number of works written on it and major jurists and Sufis are associated with this fiqh. These are all the reasons that distinguish Hanafi jurisprudence from all other schools of jurisprudence۔
