الملخص
The short story played a fundamental role in international literature during the twentieth to the twenty one century, rather it became one of the most important literary arts in this era, and it discussed various political, cultural and social topics, among the issues that preoccupied man intellectually and philosophically. African literature in general passed through several stages, and was written in different languages, which for centuries included the Arabic language through the works of great writers such as: Ibrahim Al-Kanmi, Baba Al-Tanbukti...etc. In addition to the local languages that use the Latin script, even those that were written in the Arabic script , such as: Swahili, Somali, with the exception of Kanuri, Fulani, etc.
The Chadian short story written in the Arabic language has become an important place in the map of Chadian literature, and pioneers have appeared in this type of art, such as: Al-Hadi Muhammad Adam, Ahmed Jaber, Musa Shari, Abdul-Qadeer Abh, and Salah Abdullah Al-Bilali from the first generation, and from the second generation Kawthar Salmi, and Amer Yousef Alquni.
