Method and characteristics of the doctrine of the Kufians and their most famous scholars

Abstract

Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and the best prayer of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and all his family and companions, and those who followed them with charity until the Day of Judgment and after:

Allah Almighty may save the Arabic language to save his great book, God said: “We have revealed it an Arabic Quran, so that you may understand”, and He said: “An Arabic Quran, without any defect, so they may become righteous”, and He said: “We made it an Arabic Quran, so that you may understand”, And other evidential verses that indicate the greatness of this immortal language fraught with God’s care and care.

Our Greatest Messenger continued this path of preservation with care and interest in the language and its fortification, as it was the most eloquent of all Arabs, and informed them and all of them of the harsh dialects and tongues.

Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may God have mercy on him, said: “The Arabic tongue is the slogan of Islam and its people”, and many scholars rolled up to confront the preservation of this great language, so they made rules, principles, foundations and methodology for it to be delivered from the hands of futility, falsity and misrepresentation, and they were in the context of competition and leadership.

Among those who have emerged in this field: the ancient grammatical schools, represented in their scholars and flags, including the school of Kufa in Iraq, which conducted a competition for the Basra School, and obtained what it has received from the advantages and jurisprudence to be rewarded.

The research included an introduction and two subchapters, the first of which is related to the method of the Kufic and the characteristics of their doctrine, and the second is related to the most prominent Kufic scholars.
