The aim of this study is to clarify the linguistic relationship between Arabic and Punjabi language and to clarify that many Arabic words used in Punjabi are of Arabic origin but have nevertheless been transferred to Arabic. This is called lexical borrowing in Arabic terminology. The author has used his Punjabi Classical Dictionary as the focus of the discussion and collected Arabic words from it and has tried to prove that the Punjabi language has been influenced by the Arabic language and has taken many Arabic words into its own. To prove this, the author has included an introduction in which he explains the literal and semantic meaning of the lexical borrowing and how many types there are of it have been mentioned. After that, ten words have been mentioned as examples from the Arabic words that have appeared under each letter from the letter Alif to the letter Shein in the Punjabi Classical Dictionary in alphabetic order and it has been proved that the Punjabi language and Arabic language are closely related to each other. Finally, the results of this discussion have been mentioned as a summary.
