الملخص

Islam, as a comprehensive and universal faith, offers detailed guidance for its followers in all aspects of life, including the conduct of war. While Islam fundamentally advocates for peace and harmony, it permits warfare strictly for defensive purposes and under specific ethical guidelines. Recognizing the inevitability of conflict in human society, Islamic law (Shari'ah) establishes clear principles to regulate warfare, emphasizing the protection and preservation of human rights even during times of conflict. This article provides a Shari'ah-based analysis of the Islamic framework governing human rights during wartime, highlighting the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that underscore the sanctity of human life and dignity, even amidst hostilities.
