Islamic society has always sought peace. Islam is a religion of general peace and prosperity, forbidding oppression even in war. From the biography of the Prophet ﷺ, there is a practical model in the form of war commands, from the commands not to kill elders, women and children, not to burn settlements, not to cut trees, not to damage standing crops, etc. There are clear examples of behavior.

A peaceful society means a state where life is going on normally without any violent conflicts. In this state, all members of the society enjoy equality and protection in social, economic, and political rights, which are the salient features of an Islamic society. After the Prophet's mission, when the conditions were not favorable for the formation of an Islamic society in Makkah, migration was ordered and Yathrib, where the followers of the divine religion, i.e. Jews and polytheists who had not yet become Muslims, were settled. After attaining the honor of Madinah-ul-Nabi, the Prophet ﷺ presented the first practical example of inter-faith harmony in this region in the form of the Treaty of Madinah. And then continued to fulfill this covenant with all its term. But when any tribe of Jews broke the agreement, in the light of the investigation, only that tribe was punished and not all the tribes involved in the agreement, because in Islam, the punishment is given to the one who is found guilty not an innocent. Islamic teachings are based on the exhortation to lead a peaceful life, pay the rights of others, avoid temptation and evil, and fulfill agreements. Today, despite the modern development that has reached its peak, human society is facing the problem of political, social, and economic unrest. Once again, the creation of a peaceful society has become the need of the hour.
