Quranic Principles of Family Life

Abstract

Family life was created by Allah Almighty to keep society live to gather, save and compassion. The institution of family   in Islam was utmost important. Family life affects the life of each and every member of the family. In Holy Qur’an there are many principles on which family relation are built. One way, to secure the family life is the name Taqwa, Fear of Allah Almighty in the hearts of both spouses. In that way , now one  will violate  the rights of others , also both should give equal rights to each other’s as Islam affirm the equality of the both partner. Another principles which  is taught to us  is that men and women are ( Labase) garment to  each other’s  because  they complement to each other’s. Although the family life is great blessing of Allah Almighty, but imposes certain duties to both male and female. After binding in wedding relationship, there are a lot of obligations that has been imposed on both. Another is an important objection of family life is mutual affection and blessing. Allah Almighty has taught us is to focus on the good side of your partner. Divorce is permitted in the case of failed marriage. Allah dislikes it but our religion has taught us certain rules in case of tacking such as temporary separation, counseling, and guidance (etc.) Another principle   of family life is teaching and bringing up children according to religion. Allah has ordered that to protect the respect and dignity of each other and avoid vulgarity because marriage is sacred relation in which one protects the other in many ways.
