Abstract

This study explores Quranic verses from Surah At-Tawbah, analysing various Quranic readings (qirāʾāt) as cited by the renowned Islamic scholar, Al-Thalabi. Each verse highlights unique recitations attributed to different Quranic readers. The study delves into both phonetic and grammatical variations, elucidating their linguistic and interpretive implications. It also examines how these recitations influence the meanings of the verses, considering factors such as word structure, syntactic shifts, and contextual nuances. By tracing these readings, the study underscores the rich diversity in Quranic recitation and interpretation, providing a deeper understanding of the Quran’s linguistic flexibility and theological depth.
