The Qur'an is the final and perfect guidance from Allah for humanity, addressing all aspects of life through examples suited to human understanding. It invites mankind to compare Islam with ancestral religions by recounting the stories of prophets and past nations, making it the first book on comparative religions. While all religions are based on ideologies rooted in human thought, Islam is founded on divine belief. Despite differences, religions share common moral principles like honesty and integrity essential for a civilized society. However, Islam stands apart as a comprehensive way of life, offering divine laws addressing the needs of all beings. History attests that implementing these laws resulted in an exemplary society.
Today, discussions on inter-religious unity often promote sidelining religion for universal human values, equating service to humanity with ultimate worship. This stems from ignorance and detachment from religion. Such views fail to distinguish religion’s personal rituals from Islam’s holistic system that governs all aspects of life, ensuring individual and societal well-being. Islam remains the only complete religion, a point this article seeks to elucidate clearly and concisely.
