Prominent Grammarians in the 2nd Century A.H (A Subjective Study)

Abstract

No sooner had Abu Al-Aswad established grammar, and people knew about him and his learning and his students used to come to him for learning from different areas. He made grammar more productive and fruitful. After some time, the people had been prepared for it by the grace of Almighty Allah God in the best possible way. They worked hard for its propagation and set the directions and indications for its improvement. The grammarians walked on his footsteps and excelled in this field, specially the grammarians of 2^nd Century after Hijra, in this research, I will talk about the most prominent grammarians in the second century AH, because grammar became popular and flourished in this distinguished century. My research is based on the introduction, the meanings of grammar lexically and idiomatically, prominent grammarians in the second century AH, references and sources.
