Analytical study of the research of Dr. Yaseen Mazhar Siddiqui related to the Prophethood of Makkah

Abstract

The life of Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) can be divided in to Makki and Madani two periods. Seerat-ul-Nabi cannot be completely understood without describing any one of them. All Seerat writers describes both of them but mostly Madni period of prophet hood is enforced much more in Seerat-ul-Nabi and Makki period has not given due percentage. In contemporary age, Yaseen Mazhar Siddiqui is a well-known seerah writer, he has done a lot of work on both periods of prophethood and preaching. This article will throw light on his work on seerah especially related to Makki period of prophethood and shows the importance of this period’s teaching to follow religion in a better way in every environment and walk of life.
