The article emphasizes the balanced approach of self-defense in Islam and focuses on the concept of reliance (Tawakkul) in Islam. It discusses the quranic verses and Prophetic traditions that emphasize the importance of relying on Allah in all aspects of life, including times of difficulty and conflict. This article explores the correlation between defense and reliance in the Prophetic biography. It examines specific incidents from the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that exemplify his unwavering trust in Allah while actively defending the Islamic faith and community. The article elucidates how the Prophet's actions and teachings manifest the harmonious integration of defense and reliance in the Islamic worldview.
